Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Trailer

Nic Cage shows us his rings of fire The devilish directing duo that is Neveldine/Taylor have released Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance's first trailer, and we've got it here for you below. Before that, however, they unveiled a teaser poster to whet our appetites, and it's just as flame-based as you'd expect from a Johnny Blaze adventure. Sure, it's essentially just the Ghost Rider's hand holding onto a metal flaming chain, but with the trailer arriving with it, we can't help but get all, um, hot under the collar. {One Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance Poster} As you can tell, it's definitely not a simple sequel to the previous Ghost Rider - after all, this one has him vomiting flames at people's heads and pissing like he's got a broken flamethrower attached to his groin. Simply put, it's a balls-out Neveldine/Taylor movie, complete with all the exploding cars, manic pacing and extreme extremeness as you'd expect from the guys that brought us Crank and Crank: HIgh Voltage. Still, it's very exciting stuff, and we can't wait to see more footage. Can this not-actually-a-reboot-or-a-sequel work? Can Johnny Blaze ever be a proper hero on screen? We guess we'll only find out when Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance tears through cinemas on February 22, 2012.
